Dimo Milanov was born on February 17, 1967 in Varna, Bulgaria. He graduated from the Special Art School for Industrial Forms and Design with a degree in "Fine Arts" in Kazanlak in 1986. He works in the field of graphics, illustration and book design, children's illustration and graphic design. Dimo Milanov has eight solo exhibitions and over twenty participations in prestigious international exhibitions, biennials of graphics and competitions, where he won various awards: Award of the organizers of the International Bookplate Competition "Wine and Grapes", Sremski Karlovci, Serbia (2013), Award "Excellent ExLibris" at the International Ex Libris and Mini-Print Biennale, Guangzhou, China (2014), Diploma of the XI International Graphic Competition for Ex Libris, Gliwice, Poland (2016) and others. His graphics and drawings are in the possession of Prince Charles, Simeon II of Saxe-Coburg and individuals in Bulgaria, Spain, Japan, Great Britain, USA, Romania, Turkey, Russia, Germany, Austria, Australia, the Netherlands, Belgium and China. Dimo ​​Milanov is a co-founder and member of the Jury of the first, second and third editions of International ExLibris Competition- Varna. He lives and works in Varna.
