Vladimir Kirov

Vladimir Kirov was born on 05 Nov 1955 in Lovech. In 1974 he graduated from the Art Schoolin Kazanlak. He studied at "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" University in Veliko Tarnovo, where he graduated in 1981 with a degree "Painting". Between 1987-1988, he specialized painting in St. Petersburg. After returning to Bulgaria today he has over 10 solo exhibitions in Bulgarian prestigious galleries and has participated in more than 47 national exhibitions, competitions and autumn salioni. Winner of the Grand Prize at the International Biennial of Miniature Arts – Rousse 2011. Vladimir Kirov was invited and participated in many international exhibitions, biennials and competitions in Switzerland, Spain, France, Poland, UK, USA and Canada and has won many prizes. He has won one of ten first prizes in the International Competition for original painting "Daler-Rowney" in England in 2002, two-time winner of the diploma of the International Exhibition of Miniature Art, Toronto, Canada (1990 and 1991), winner of the Cup of the city Mougins at the International Competition of Visual Arts in Nice, France, in 1992.  In 2012 Vladimir Kirov won the Award for Creativity "Lovech sword" in the "Fine Arts" section of the municipality of Lovech. The author manifests in painting and miniatures. He lives and works in the town of  Troyan.
