Albena Koeva

Albena Koeva was born on August 23, 1970 in Varna, Bulgaria. In 1996 she graduated from Veliko Tarnovo University "St. St. Cyril and Methodius ” majoring in "Graphics". She specialized in painting at the National Academy of Arts - Sofia in the period 1999-2002. Albena has been a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists since 2007. She has had seven solo exhibitions, some of which in Bulart Gallery, Varna (2003), Tageya Gallery, Varna (2005), Gallery 8, Varna (2017, 2018) and others. She has participated in numerous exhibitions and competitions, some of which are: the collective collection "Painting" - Galev Gallery, Sofia (1999), "Discrimination" - "Artbosforus", Istanbul, Turkey (2003), "Format 30/30 ”- Astri Gallery, Sofia (2009), Bertrand Kass Gallery - Innsbruck, Austria (2010),“ From 100 studios ”- Resonance Gallery, Plovdiv (2014), Flowers Exhibition - Gallery "Teddy", Varna (2016), exhibition "Summer Varna" - Art Gallery Largo, Varna (2020), etc. Her works are owned by city galleries in the country, as well as private collections in the country and abroad. She lives and works in Varna.
