On November 27, 2018, Largo Art Gallery will celebrate its first anniversary - ten years since its establishment. For these ten years we’ve had some serious achievements.

We organized 159 exhibitions in the gallery, 20 exhibitions in other places such as the National Palace of Culture in the First Hall of the Galleries (2015), the Varna Festival Complex (2009), Aspect Gallery - Plovdiv, Vidima Gallery - Sevlievo, Seasons Gallery - Sofia, Bulgarian Army Theater - Sofia (2009). We’ve organized art shows in the galleries of the Varna lyceum in the big city neighborhoods- Asparuhovo and Vladislav Varnenchik, in the exhibition halls of the National Art Schools in Sofia, Varna and Kazanlak and at the "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" University in Veliko Tarnovo. We organized charity exhibitions and events in favor of the National School of Arts "Dobri Hristov" (2009), Maritime Destinations Foundation (2010), "Karin Dom" (2014). We were participants and partners at major festivals held in Varna - Con.tempo (2010), August in Art (2010), Futuro (2015).
Art Gallery Largo hosted special events - musical concerts, games, body art show on the "The Night of Museums and Galleries" in 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018. During these years, we organized 9 art competitions for the students from the National School of Arts "Dobri Hristov" - Varna, where we provided young artists with the best platform to express their artistic abilities.
In 2015 Art Gallery Largo organized and realized the project "Shared Spaces", presenting the symbiosis in the arts by simultaneously holding an exhibition and a concert of classical music by two creative artists.

With great pride and joy, we want to note that in 2018 we held the third edition of one of the most successful projects of the Largo Gallery – the International ExLibris Competition Varna. Since the year of the competition’s foundation in 2014, over 600 graphic artists from all over the world have participated in the competition. Due to the hard work of Largo Gallery’s team, not only the citizens of Varna had the opportunity to touch the best models of the contemporary art in the world, but also citizens of six other cities in Bulgaria. Each edition of the competition is displayed in a traveling exhibition, and this year was also presented at the XXXVIIth Congress of the International Federation of Exclusive Collection Companies FISAE in Prague.

For the ten years since its found, Largo Art Gallery has presented more than 6,000 artworks, 5533 of which were shown in solo or collective exhibitions. More than 3,800 works have been uploaded in the gallery's website, and the Facebook page presents our projects and events to over 4,700 followers. We have uploaded around 50 videos from the openings of our exhibitions that can be seen on the gallery’s YouTube channel. For over ten years, more than 260 artists from around the world have been featured in mass expositions, and more than 300 artists have been featured in the exlibris related exhibitions. 64 artists had solo exhibitions at Largo Art Gallery.

Behind this impressive portfolio lies the hard work, commitment and inspiration of our team at Largo Gallery. But we could have never succeeded if it wasn’t for all the artists who have trusted us, who have given us a helping hand in the first years of our creation and are with us to this day. This is why our tenth birthday will be celebrating with a special exhibition of ten very important and significant Bulgarian artists – Alexander Dimitrov, Angel Gerdjikov, Valeri Tsenov, Ventsislav Markov, Vladimir Kirov, Dimitar Voinov Junior, Lora Marinova, Nikolai Angelov- Gary, Tsvetan Lazarov and Julian Jordanov. These artists have been invariable participants in the artistic life and the events of the gallery during the first ten years of its creation. Taking into consideration their irreplaceable contribution to the establishment of Largo Art Gallery as one of the most valued, appreciated and respected Bulgarian galleries, we are extremely pleased to award the special Prize "Artist of the Decade of Largo Art Gallery". The award ceremony will take place on 27 November 2018 in the gallery in the presence of special guests - painters, collectors, journalists, connoisseurs and friends of the gallery.
